What a treat to wake up with the town of Ura in a lovely farmhouse.

In addition to this gorgeous view, I awoke to the muffled mantra reading of the lady of the house, as my room was situated next to the family’s shrine room.

After she finished, my driver (who also happens to be a Lama) took me up to join her and performed a morning blessing.

What a way to start the day!
